I agree with Joe, if you love this woman with all your heart and soul there is nothing more you have to do, but ask. Good Luck.

Come into the room dressed in a clownsuit , bozo hair, and squeeky nose. Hand her a baloon that says Will you marry me..

Bri-What makes you say it is not hypothetical ;-)? your idea is a good one but it seems so unoriginal, she said I better make it a good one and I don't want to dissapoint her.

Semgirl- hmmm, interesting...I'll think about that one, but I don't think she would like it. She also didn't like that idea about the ring in the cake. Sorry, she is picky in somethings.

Eishes Chayil- Thanks for the advice. I am a shy kind of guy and I don't like attention but I will try to make it memoriable. Maybe in a semi-public place.

araya- Thanks for the sound advice I wont do something like you mentioned. She specifically told me of about 20 ways I can't do because she has heard of them.

Any other ideas?

I called her mother (in front of her) to ask if it was ok for us to get married.

Lvnsm27-Thank you!

LBPT- I will, Bezras Hashem!

Holeches- Interesting idea, however, I don't have much of a sense of humor except sarcasim, and I am not much of an actor, usually when I get lost it is for real... I don't want to have to fake it, it is too painful.

Duvie- Hmmm, what did her mother have to say?
