A Hard Earned Lesson

Philosophy is not Torah.

Why did I have to make conversation with the philosophy professor? I knew it would lead nowhere, as it did.

Good thing I had a dear friend show me the right path.

My two worlds are at edges with each other, but they keep trying to conquer and assimilate. I need a clear defining line.

I have a totally different approach to philosophy and Torah. What you need is not fine lines, you need to let both interests balance eachother and mesh together to become one. Any study in this world is synonmous with Torah, it just has to be done the right way. Continue to study philosophy and argue with philosophy teachers, when the time and situation calls for it, but learn how to mesh it together with Torah. Anyone wanting to question me on this please feel free...

I don't argue with people if I know it's going to be pointless.

Arguing with college professor's shouldn't lower your GPA if you can (a) back up your point and (b) do it respectfully out of a desire to reach a higher point and not just to make a point.
