About the middle article, 'Death less painful for the rich', while it may be that during the last few months they're in less pain than a poor person in the same situation, i read somewhere that after a person dies, it's hard for the soul when it separates from the body. And it depends on whether the person is spiritual or materialistic. The spiritual person has an easier time leaving the body b/c they're looking forward to the spiritual world, whereas the material person concentrates on the body and mourns over what's happening to it. And there are those who are both.
A Yeshiva Bachur working on his way up in life, with some bumps in between. If you have something nice or helpful to add, feel free to leave a comment.
